This is us.

Some you’ve watched for years. Some you’ll watch for years to come. All of them ours.

The gym is old. Cold in winter, hot in summer. It smells the way a place smells when work has been done in it for a long time. You hear the gloves before you see anyone; that, and the laughter before training, which is its own kind of warm-up.

What they share is the door they walk through now, and the man who’s been holding it open since 2003. Zelg built this. He’s been here since. When someone wins, Monday is a training day. When someone loses, Monday is a training day.

Some carry titles. Some are fighting on the biggest cards in Europe. Some are earlier in the road. None of them choose their opponent, their venue, or their night. They say yes, and they show up.

Sixteen of them now. Different weights. Different lives outside the cage. Same door. Same coffee after.

Swipe through.
