🥎 PREMIER CUP – DAY 4

Princ vs. Les Comanches (FRA) 0:3

Another solid defensive game against a strong opponent. We stayed in the game from the beginning and, apart from the 3rd inning when Comanches scored two runs, our defense managed to keep them under control.

Sadie Leonard had an excellent performance in the circle and kept us in the game throughout all seven innings.

Unfortunately, offensively it simply wasn’t our day. We didn’t hit the way we know we can, finishing the game with only three hits and not managing to put enough pressure on their defense.

⭐ MVP: Sadie Leonard for her excellent pitching performance and for keeping a strong Comanches offense under control.

The final score was 3:0, but once again our defense and pitching showed that we can compete at this level. Now we need to get our bats going! 💪🥎

Princ vs. Merchtem Cats (BEL) 3:2

What a game! Definitely one of our best games at the Premier Cup so far!

We built our lead little by little and had great contact at the plate throughout the entire game. Not every ball found a gap – some were stopped by the strong Cats defense and some went directly to their players – but when you keep putting pressure on the defense, eventually the hits start finding their way through.

One of the key hits came from Mia Primec, who drove the ball all the way to the fence and brought Lara home.

Cera Blanchard was excellent in the circle, pitching the entire game and keeping the Cats offense under control.

⭐ MVP: Raquel Rodrigo, who had an amazing game on both sides of the ball. She recorded two caught stealings on defense and added an inside-the-park home run on offense!

And the ending couldn’t have been more dramatic. We entered the final defensive inning leading 3:1. The Cats managed to score one run and had another runner on base, but we finished the game in the best possible way – a strikeout against their best hitter to secure the 3:2 win! 💪🔥

A great team performance and a very important win for us! ❤️🥎

🥎 PREMIER CUP – DAY 2

Princ vs. Bollate Softball 0:7

What a game! Despite the result, this was one we really enjoyed playing. When you face last year’s Premier Cup champions and the best team in Europe in 2025, you know exactly what kind of challenge is waiting for you.

We held Bollate scoreless through the first two innings. The third inning was the only one where things really got away from us – an error, a sacrifice bunt, a single and then several connected hits allowed them to score five runs.

Apart from that inning, our defense worked really well. We played six innings, and Bollate had to work hard to get runners on base. Offensively, as expected, their pitching was a big challenge, but with every game our hitters are getting better and more comfortable facing pitching at this level.

⭐ MVP: Cera Blanchard, who had a great outing in the circle. In 3 innings pitched, she allowed 4 hits and 2 earned runs while recording 3 strikeouts.

Princ vs. Rivas Madrid 0:5

After watching our first game of the day and seeing how well we competed, Rivas came out against us with their strongest lineup.

Unfortunately, defensive errors hurt us, especially in the first inning when Rivas scored three runs. After that, we settled down and played a much stronger game.

Our offense continues to improve with every game. We’re still waiting for that first run, but we’ve already faced some of the strongest teams in the tournament and every at-bat against this level of pitching is valuable experience for our players.

⭐ MVP: Tihana Hrženjak, who reached base twice, recorded a hit and did a great job behind the plate, catching and leading our pitchers throughout the game.

🗓 Today we play at 20:30 against Merchtem Cats (BEL) 🇧🇪.

🥎 DAY 1

Princ vs. Joudrs 0:7

Our first game of the tournament – and we knew from the start that this tournament would not be an easy one for us.

We allowed runs only in the odd-numbered innings, and our pitchers did a good job keeping us in the game. Joudrs, however, found the gaps between our infield and outfield several times, and those hits were difficult to defend.

Offensively, we had some good contact and put balls in play, but Joudrs showed the strong defense we expected from them and didn’t allow us to score.

⭐ MVP: Lara Ključarić, who recorded a nice hit up the middle.
