Dobrodošli u Oniwaban Dojo, dom japanskih borilačkih sistema baziranih na oružju. Oniwaban je skupina višegodišnjih praktičara borilačkih vještina i sportova.
Okupljeni smo zbog potrebe za napredovanjem u matičnim vještinama i sportovima kroz razmjenu iskustava i znanja sa drugim sportašima i praktičarima. Treninzi su koncipirani za razvoj tehnika samoobrane, uz vježbe snage i izdržljivosti koje su sastavni dio svakog treninga. Here we go again...
Please enjoy my latest research into Toda Sensei and the Togakure Ryu....
Indisputable proof that the Toda family (Togakure Ryu) was intricately involved with the Shogun's secret service, The Oniwaban.
Tomorrow I will post on another find that I made today. It appears that Toda Gosuke's 3rd son, Kinzaburo, was adopted into the Mukai family and became the 11th Soke of the Mukai Ryu of traditional Japanese swimming. He was recruited to head up the new Naval academy along with KATSU KAISHU!!! This is HUGE It is a big find and helps explain why the Togakure Ryu has so many swimming techniques (as taught by Manaka Shihan in the early 1990's) and supports Takamatsu Sensei's statement that the Toda family and Katsu Kaishu were friends and worked together...
