A 45. nyílt és 30. női sakkolimpia 2024. és szeptember 22. között Budapesten került megrendeztésre. (Érdekesség, hogy Budapest adott otthont 1926-ban a 2. nem hivatalos sakkolimpiának is.)

A Női és Nyílt kategóriában egyaránt India lett a bajnok.

Hazánk három férfi és három női csapatot indított a sakkolimpián.

A 11 fordulós, svájci rendszerű versenyen a férfi A csapat a 14., a B a 29., a C (U25) pedig a 65. helyen végzett. A női csapataink eredményei: az A csapat a 11., a B a 33., a C (U25) pedig a 64. helyen zárt.

Gledura Benjámin 2. helyezett lett a tábladíjasok között. Gratulálunk a résztvevőknek!
