🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 Roma fiatalok, döntéshozók, szakemberek és civil szereplők közös párbeszédben.

📍 Június 17-én ismét megrendezésre kerül a Roma Ifjúsági Konferencia a Budapesti Európai Ifjúsági Központban, az Európa Tanács, a Nemzeti Ifjúsági Tanács és a Phiren Amenca partnerségében.

📌 A konferencia célja, hogy közösen gondolkodjunk a roma fiatalok társadalmi és közéleti részvételének erősítéséről, a befogadás lehetőségeiről és a fiatalokat érintő kihívásokról.

💬 A nap során szakmai beszélgetések, workshopok és párhuzamos munkacsoportok biztosítanak teret az érdemi párbeszédnek fiatalok, aktivisták, ifjúsági szervezetek és döntéshozók között.

👥 Várjuk mindazokat, akik fontosnak tartják a fiatalok részvételét, az esélyegyenlőséget és a közösségi együttműködést.

📣Roma Ifjúsági Konferencia 2026!
2026. június 17-én ötödik alkalommal kerül megrendezésre az Európa Tanács által a Roma Ifjúsági Konferencia a Budapesti Európai Ifjúsági Központban a Nemzeti Ifjúsági Tanáccsal (NIT - Nemzeti Ifjúsági Tanács / National Youth Council of Hungary) és a Phiren Amenca-val partnerségben.

Az esemény szakmai keretét az Európa Tanács roma fiatalok részvételéről szóló ajánlása, a 2026–2030-as Roma és Traveller Befogadási Stratégia, valamint az Új Demokratikus Paktum Európáért kezdeményezés adja.

A programra várjuk roma és nem roma fiatalok, ifjúsági vezetők, aktivisták, helyi és országos döntéshozók, roma, Ifjúsági és civil szervezetek munkatársai, nemzeti és helyi hatóságok jelentkezését.

A konferencia magyar nyelven kerül megrendezésre.

Étkezés: Az Európai Ifjúsági Központ Budapest biztosítja a kávészüneteket és az ebédet minden résztvevő számára.

📣Roma Youth Conference 2026!
On June 17, 2026, the Council of Europe will host the Roma Youth Conference for the 5th time in partnership with the National Youth Council (NIT) and Phiren Amenca at the European Youth Center Budapest.

The event’s conceptual framework is provided by the Council of Europe’s Recommendation on Roma Youth Participation, and its Strategy for Roma and Traveller Inclusion (2026 - 2030), as well as the New Democratic Pact for Europe initiative.

We welcome applications from Roma and non-Roma youth, youth leaders, activists, local and national decision-makers, staff of Roma, youth, and civil society organizations, as well as national and local authorities.

The conference will be held in Hungarian.

Meals: The European Youth Centre Budapest will provide coffee breaks and lunch for all participants.

📖On 13 March, the European Youth Centre Budapest hosted a highly successful Living Library event (Élő Könyvtár az Emberi Jogokért), organized in partnership with Colour-Catcher Association.

💬At the event, 32 students engaged in open-minded discussions with our ten Living Books, and explored and challenged their own stereotypes, gaining personal insight into the experiences of vulnerable and discriminated groups.

📚The event was a follow-up of a training of Living Books that had taken place on 7 March at the EYCB, also organised by Colour-Catcher Association.

✨The Living Library is a human rights education tool designed to foster dialogue, understanding, and mutual acceptance by bringing together audiences and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Special thanks to the Colour-Catcher Association for their continuous and devoted work in the organisation of Living Libraries!
