Massive thank you to Dariusz for taking me out into Hudson Bay yesterday. An incoming tide and a touch of headwind meant that I didn't get far. A trip around the Statue of Liberty will have to remain on my to-do list for now.

I'm glad I didn't fall in!! 😂

I am visiting the USA 🇺🇸 this month for the World Cup. It would be remiss of me not to combine this trip of a lifetime with a few SUP adventures.

This urban trip on a dirty river through the centre of Newark, NJ might seem like an unusual choice for my first paddle in this large and varied country.

But the Passaic River was closest to my first-night accommodation.

The USA is country number 58 in my quest to 🎉🎉🎉
