Thank you everybody who participated in the returnal of Bubblepest, both players and voulunteers. It was lovely to see our little bubble filling up with players again in a 7v7 format. In case you have any feedback please do not hold back to drop us a message.

As you might have figured it out already, BubblePest is still in rest mode, and won't happen in 2022. We are just as sad about this as you are.

While we are waiting for the stars to align to make the Bubble great again, for those who hold our city near to their heart we'd like to draw the attention to an other tournament we run, called Seven-X

In close proximity to Budapest you can move into an other Bubble for a weekend, in the city of Gödöllő, following the same 7v7 mixed format.

We hope you are doing great in these times, and are really looking forward to the day when we can finally come back with a Bubblepest announcement post. Till then, please take a look at our other gig.

Seven-X Competitive preparational ultimate frisbee tournament for mixed teams who want to play real ultimate

Dear Bubbleheads

As you probably noticed, we've been silent in the last few weeks regarding if there's gonna be Bubblepest in 2020 or not. With that said apologies for all the messages that are still not answered.

Unfortunately Bubblepest in 2020 won't happened, due to the venue's decision, that they won't provide their fields for rental anymore. We're already working on coming up with ideas how could we bring it back for 2021, but for now, we are forced to take a break.

On the other hand we were busy cooking up something that is still 7v7, still indoors, still mixed but a slightly different than Bubblepest. We're running an other tournament for a few years now, called 7 Ultimate Tournament that is more focused on being competitive than an all around fun tourney, and give the teams a good opportunity to launch the new season/close the indoors season properly. Next year we will try a new format called Seven-X. Same concept, but mixed.

If you are still looking for a good winter tournament close to Budapest the registration will be open later today. We hope you're gonna like this one too.

Thank you for sticking with us in the last 9 years, and for putting this tournament on the European ultimate map. We're working to figure out a way to make it 10.
