Balcony Gardening:
Did you know that the long and happy months of gardening have already begun? Enjoy the beauty of nature and the joy of caring for plants without the need for a huge garden. These months, when the weather starts to warm up, are the perfect time to start gardening on your balcony or terrace. It doesn't matter how small the space is!

During balcony gardening, you can grow various plants, including flowers, herbs, vegetables, and fruits, depending on your goals. Flowers can brighten up your balcony or terrace, while herbs can add fresh and aromatic flavors to your meals. Growing vegetables and fruits allows you to produce your own fresh and healthy food at home.

It's important to carefully select your plants and pay attention to their needs, including proper sunlight, water, and nutrients. Keep an eye on weather changes and make sure your plants receive the necessary care and protection.

Balcony gardening is a great opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the green environment at home. Additionally, it's a soothing and creative activity that can help reduce stress and refresh your daily life. So go ahead and enjoy the long and happy months of balcony gardening!

Thyme, sage, it's best to look for seedlings at the nursery, as the plants available there are likely to be vigorous and healthy. Our favorite herbs include basil, mint, rosemary, chives, oregano, tarragon, parsley, lemon balm, among others

We are members of Generation X. We were born in the 70s and 80s. We learned in the 80s and 90s. We dated together in the 90s. We started families and explored the world in the 2000s. By 2010, we had become wiser. Then we decisively move beyond 2020. We lived in two different centuries. We lived in two different millennia. We knew what it was like to make a long-distance call from a landline phone, then advanced to video calls. We transitioned from MTV to YouTube, from vinyl records to online music, from handwritten letters to WhatsApp. From black-and-white TV to color TV, then to 3D HD TV. We encountered the first computers, Commodore 64s, floppy disks, and now gigabytes and megabytes on our smartphones. Our entire childhood wardrobe consisted of corduroy pants, a T-shirt, and mandatory blue aprons during school hours, then came Casucci and Ritt jeans, followed by Lewis501s in the 90s. We avoided viral meningitis, polio, tuberculosis, swine flu, and now COVID-19 too. Typically, we are independent, autonomous, and creative. We are the ones who experienced the initial stages of technological development and were able to adapt to it. We became more modern but still retained our traditional values. We experienced VHS rentals, listened to music on Walkmans bought by our parents at the dollar store, lived through the 8-bit era of video games, and these broad experiences contributed to the unique identity and values of our generation. While in 1990 we borrowed VHS tapes to watch movies, today we just press the Netflix button on the remote. Yes, we are Generation X, who teenagers and twenty-somethings today call "old." Yet, I believe we constitute a diverse group and have an impact on the world.

Successful day for everyone!!

Have you ever thought about this?

One hundred years from now, let's say in 2123, we will all be buried alongside our relatives and friends. Strangers will live in our homes, for which we fought so hard to build, and everything we possess today will belong to them. All our wealth will become unknown and unborn, including the car we spent a fortune on, which will likely be nothing but scrap metal in the hands of an unknown collector.

Our descendants will barely know who we were, and they won't remember us. How many of us know the father of our great-grandfather? After our death, they will remember us for a few more years, then we'll just be a portrait on someone's bookshelf, and a few years later our history, our photos, our deeds will vanish into the oblivion of history. We won't even be memories anymore.

If we were to pause one day and truly reflect on these thoughts, perhaps we would understand how ignorant and naive it was to dream of achieving everything.

If we were to dwell on this, our approach and thoughts would surely change. We would become different people.

Always wanting more, we don't have time for what truly matters in this life. I would change all of that, to experience and enjoy the walks I never took, the hugs I never gave, the kisses to my children and loved ones, the jokes I didn't have time for. Surely, these would be the most beautiful moments to look back on, as they would have filled my life with joy.

Yet, some of us waste every day with greed, selfishness, and intolerance.

Every moment of life is invaluable and will never repeat itself, so take the time to enjoy it, be grateful, and celebrate your existence.
