The season finale just aired last night! If you haven’t watched it on do it!

While trying to stack size and keep him functional we had to find the right mix of bodybuilding and functional power training. Along with finding the right mixture of programming and being able to adjust to unforeseen interruptions of a 12-16hr work days, 50+ lbs suit, with extremely limited range of motion, and it fits like a 5/4 wetsuit stacked with plastic pieces. As a leader you don’t have time to “find” motivation when it seems like the odds are stacked against you. All you have is your dedication to being of service to those who follow.

Now the work begins again, can’t wait to show you guys what the team is working on for season two, I’ll be sharing more on here so keep a look out.

Here is one of our repeated pulling workouts.

10min cardio
Then:
Mobility warm Up
Then:
5x pull ups
10x push ups
15x air squats
20x lunges
2sets
Then:
Single leg deadlift
Blug split squats
2sets

10x kb swings
5x knee jumps
2sets
Then:
Warm up Deadlift
10-7-5
Then:
4x12-8 deadlift
Then:
4x12-8 zercher squats (from the ground)
Then:
20x db lunge + curl at the top

10x 100m skierg sprints (pace increase as rounds progress, last 2-3 are the only all out efforts)

I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to work with & learn from this amazing cast & crew. No matter what they showed up everyday ready and willing to put the work in.

Yes, I’m crying... I’m away from home for a long period time and seeing our “gym members” on IG story come together to give our space some love makes me happy cry!

This concept of the gym was built because I wanted & needed a sense of family and support in my life. At the time I started I was battling deep depression from losing both my parents, getting out of the military, dropping out of college, excessive drinking, & struggling with “what’s next”. To this day we don’t have a sign on the building and have never really done marketing to grow our gym. Everything has been word of mouth. It was never meant to be your normal gym. We aren’t the biggest gym, nor claim to be anything we’re not. BUT we are the best damn family that just so happens to gather between 4 walls to spend time together. Thank you all for protecting what we have all worked so hard to build. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for believing in yourself.
