Your PSA Budapest Squash Open CHAMPION, Greg Lobban! 🏆🇭🇺

After a stunning performance throughout the week, Greg Lobban managed to win the final tonight for 3-0 against Patrick Rooney, and lift the Budapest Open trophy! 💪🏼

Congratulations to all the players, and Greg for a masterclass win! 🤝🏼

Nr.3 seed Patrick Rooney from England takes on nr.1 seed Greg Lobban at 19:00 to see who takes home the Budapest Open title. 💪🏼

PSA Budapest Squash Open - Semi finals ✅

It is going to be a british final tomorrow at the Budapest Open, as Lobban and Rooney wins in straight games! 🏆

The first match of the night was between nr.3 seed Patrick Rooney and nr.6 seed Yannick Wilhelmi. The first game was a real thriller with a 15-13 score. Rooney was able to maintain the lead and finish the semi final 11-2, 11-8.

Greg Lobban, the nr.1 seed played an exciting match with japan's Tsukue. Each game was really close, but Lobban managed to win the end-games, and secure a spot in the final. 11-9, 11-7, 13-11.

It is going to be an epic final tomorrow, see you all courtside! 😉

PSA Budapest Squash Open 🏆 Tuesday schedule 📅

We have two crazy exciting semi finals today at the Budapest Open! 💪🏼

Nr.3 seed Patrick Rooney takes on Switzerland's Yannick Wilhelmi. And nr.1 seed Greg Lobban is looking to secure a spot in the final, but he has to overcome japan's Tsukue first. 🆚

These are going to be two world-class matches, can't wait to see the action! 🔥

PSA Budapest Squash Open - Day 3 ✅

We have witnessed some amazing squash in the quarter final round here in Budapest. 🔥

Nr.1 seed Greg Lobban made his way to the semis with a 3-0 win against George Parker. 👍🏼

We've had two exciting 5-setters today: 👇🏼

Home player Balázs Farkas and japan's Tsukue's match had everything, but unfortunately for the home crowd, Tsukue made it to the semifinals in the end. 🇯🇵

Rooney and Soares's match was also a 5-game thriller, where nr.3 seed Rooney managed to get that spot in the semis. 💪🏼

Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day, see you then! 😉

PSA Budapest Squash Open - Day 2 ✅

Another great day of squash at the Budapest Open. 👌🏼

The biggest upset of the tournament came early on the day, as Dewald van Niekerk beat nr.2 seed Nick Wall in three games. 🤯

The match of the day was without a doubt the battle between Tsukue and Damming with Tsukue winning in the fifth after a comback. 👌🏼

Home favourite, Farkas Balázs has won in four games, and moved forward to the quarters. 💪🏼
