🏆 18. F3A Savaria Kupa – Szombathely

Sikeresen megrendeztük a 18. Savaria Kupát Szombathelyen! A verseny remek hangulatban zajlott, bár az időjárás ezúttal egy kis széllel t***e izgalmasabbá a repüléseket. 🌬️✈️

Ezúton is szeretnénk megköszönni a Savaria Modellező Egyesület tagjainak a verseny lebonyolításában nyújtott segítséget.

🏆 18th F3A Savaria Cup – Szombathely

We successfully hosted the 18th Savaria Cup in Szombathely! The competition took place in a great atmosphere, with a bit of wind adding an extra challenge to the flying. 🌬️✈️

We would like to thank the members of the Savaria Model Flying Club for their valuable help in organizing the event.

During the competition, we completed 3 P-27 rounds and 2 F-27 rounds. Based on the results, the final standings were:

F3A World Cup Zillertal 🇦🇹

Ismét egy F3A verseny hétvégén vagyunk túl. A helyszín ezúttal az ausztriai Fügen volt, a gyönyörű alpesi hegyek között 🏔️

A pénteki gyakorló napon már világossá vált, hogy a múlt hétvégi csehországi hőséget még lehet überelni… 38-42°C zajlott a verseny 🥵☀️, 30 indulóval.

A junior versenyzőnk, Áron nagyon szépen szerepelt a hétvégén, majdnem utolérve mentorát, a 19. helyen végzet💪🏻

Tamás a 3 startban mutatott stabil teljesítményével 18. helyet szerezte meg. ✅

Olivérnek sajnos volt egy technikai problémája a repülőjével a 2. körben, ami miatt ezt a startot meg kellett szakítania.
A másik két repülése lett a pontot erő, és a 15. helyen végzett. 🎉

F3A World Cup Zillertal 🇦🇹

Another F3A competition weekend is behind us! This time, we travelled to Fügen, Austria, surrounded by the stunning Alpine mountains. 🏔️

Already during Friday’s practice day, it became clear that last weekend’s heat in the Czech Republic could actually be beaten… 🥵☀️ The competition was held in scorching 38–42°C temperatures, with 30 pilots competing.

Our junior pilot Áron delivered a fantastic performance throughout the weekend, finishing in 19th place, just narrowly behind his mentor. 💪🏻

Tamás flew consistently across all three rounds and secured 18th place. ✅

Unfortunately, Olivér experienced a technical issue with his aircraft during the second round, forcing him to abort that flight.
His other two flights counted towards his final score, earning him 15th place. 🎉

A big thank you to Modellsportgruppe Zillertal for the excellent organization and smooth running of the event.

Congratulations to all the competitors who completed the contest under such demanding conditions! 👏

Újabb verseny. Most a tiroli Fügennél.

A magyar csapat a második F3A World Cup-on vett részt a hétvégén, Csehországban.

A Belov-ban található reptér mögött egy domb húzódik. Ebből adódóan érdekes, olykor megpróbáltató szél viszonyok mellett versenyeztünk, 36 fokos hőségben 🥵

Áronnak (junior) ez volt élete első F3A World Cup versenye, ahol a 19. helyet szerezte meg 💪🏻

Tamás a 12., Olivér a 10. helyen végzett.
A helyezéséből adódóan, Olivért kérték fel a döntő előtti F-27 kalibrációs start repülésére. ✅

The Hungarian team competed in the second F3A World Cup of the season this weekend in the Czech Republic.

The airfield in Belov is located next to a hillside, which created challenging wind conditions throughout the competition. On top of that, we flew in 36°C heat 🥵

For Áron (Junior), this was the very first F3A World Cup event of his career, where he achieved an impressive 19th place 💪🏻

Tamás finished in 12th place, while Olivér secured 10th place.

Thanks to his ranking, Olivér was selected to perform the F-27 warm up flight before the finals. ✅

A hétvégén részt vettünk az idei első F3A World Cup-on Schärding-ben 🇦🇹.

Már a pénteki edző napon rossz időjárás várt minket, eső és alacsony felhőzet. A szombati verseny esőben kezdődött, ezt napsütés és nagyon erős szél váltotta fel (konstans 12 m/s). Majd ez folytatódott vasárnap is.

A magyar csapatot Szépfalvi Aron, Szépfalvi Tamás és Szépfalvi Olivér alkották. Sajnos Aron péntek estére lebetegedett, így ő nem tudott indulni a versenyen.

A world cup-on 36 pilóta versenyzett, 9 országból.

Olivér nagyon szép teljesítménnyel 13. lett, Tamás nem sokkal lemaradva a 19 helyet szerezte meg. 💪🏻

This weekend we participated in the our first F3A World Cup of the year, in Schärding, 🇦🇹.

The weather was challenging from the very beginning. On Friday’s practice day, we were greeted by rain and low cloud cover. The competition on Saturday started in the rain, followed by sunshine and very strong winds (a steady 12 m/s). These conditions continued throughout Sunday as well.

The Hungarian team consisted of Áron Szépfalvi, Tamás Szépfalvi, and Olivér Szépfalvi. Unfortunately, Áron became ill on Friday evening and was unable to compete.

A total of 36 pilots from 9 countries competed in the World Cup.

With a strong performance, Olivér finished in 13th place, while Tamás secured 19th place, not far behind. 💪🏻

Thank you to UMFS Schärding for the perfectly organized competition!

Our next stop is the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 next weekend.

Az idei Stefel kupát hírtelen elhatározásból átvittük Ferihegy 3 reptérre. Nagyon köszönjük az ottani csapatnak, hogy ezt lehetővé t***e nekünk, bár nem volt előre megbeszélve. Kevesen voltunk, de nagyon jól éreztük magunkat.

Sokoro RC ismét vendégül lát minket a szokásos edzőtáborunkra.
