We are not sure that everybody is aware of that KayakFirst is Hungarian rooted in the traditions of a nation where canoe sports are exceptionally strong, and this heritage continues to inspire our work.
​Perhaps the most influential Hungarian coach, under whose leadership kayak-canoe became a top-tier sport in Hungary following the 1954 Macon World Championships. He is credited with introducing the four-season training system, mini-kayak competitions, and the foundation of early youth development. 🏆
​Gyula Füzesséry, the first head of the KSI (Central Sports School) department, former national head coach, master coach, and Golden Merit Medalist of the sport, celebrates his 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣th birthday today! 💙

Talán a legnagyobb hatású magyar edző, akinek vezetésével élvonalbeli sportággá vált itthon a kajak-kenu az 1954-es maconi világbajnokság után. A nevéhez fűződik a négy évszakos edzésrendszer, a mini kajakos versenyek, és a korai utánpótlás-nevelés elindítása is. 🏆
