We are the Debrecen University Rugby Club.The team was formed on October 2012 by our awesome trainer Currently the club has 25 to 30 inscribed players.
The Debrecen Rugby Football Club was founded by an idea of Michele Catarinella and Colm O'Keane. Both former professional rugby players that met during their medical studies at Debrecen University. Soon after creation in the 1st October 2012, the team has always had a great approval among students. The first team was playing rugby XV and was initially called SPQR Debrecen Rugby Student Association

December hónapban a kismarjai rászorulóknak gyűjtött a terem adományokat (élelmiszer, játék, ruházat). Első körben megtelt az erre kijelölt terület, ezért indítottunk egy 2. kört is, ami ma zárult le és a Debreceni Egyetem rögbi csapata egy nagy mennyiségű adománnyal szállt be az utolsó nap. Our first game in the 15s format this season with a young squad. Well played to all our boys you showed great sportsmanship and great resilience. Unfortunately, we were not able to get the result we wanted, Magyarország U18 29:17 DEAC RFC. We learnt a lot and we can only grow better together.
