Yesterday, I joined the ASPIRE Coach Program at the Australian Institute of Sport, working with incredible women who are determined to make their mark in high performance coaching.
The theme was Wayfinding — finding your own path when the map doesn’t yet exist. For women in sport, that’s often the reality. We’re still navigating systems and spaces that weren’t always built for us.
But what I saw yesterday gave me hope — women creating opportunities, lifting each other up, and proving that leadership has no gender.
The more we share our stories and make our journeys visible, the easier it becomes for the next generation to find their way.

🌟 Excited to share that I’ll be joining the ASPIRE Coach Program as part of the Support Crew!
This initiative by the Australian Institute of Sport is designed to develop and empower aspiring women coaches on their journey toward high performance sport. I’m honoured to contribute by sharing my experiences, knowledge, and learnings alongside an incredible group of coaches and leaders.
Coaching is about growth, connection, and lifting others up — and I’m thrilled to play a small part in supporting the next generation of women making their mark in high performance coaching.

📊 BAL Kalahari Conference – Player Impact Breakdown
This graph from Okapi Sports gives us a unique look at player performance in the Basketball Africa League’s Kalahari Conference by comparing Offensive Rating (ORtg) and Defensive Rating (DRtg).
The graph is split into four quadrants, showing where each player’s strengths currently lie:
🔲 Top-right: Two-Way Impact
Players here excel on both ends of the court.
👉 George King stands out with the highest Net Rating (+14.4) – he’s been elite offensively and defensively.
Net Rating is simply a players Offensive rating minus their defensive rating.
🔲 Top-left: Defensive Specialists
These players bring serious value on the defensive end but are less efficient and effective on the offensive end.
👉 Peter Olisemeka falls into this group.
🔲 Bottom-right: Offensive Weapons
Players here are scoring efficiently but may be less effective and efficient defensively.
👉 Raphaiel Putney and Kelvin Amayo lead the way in this quadrant.
🔲 Bottom-left: Work in Progress
Players still finding their footing, with potential to grow on both ends.
👉 Mahamane Coulibaly and Mouhamed Doumbya are adjusting but show promise.
