At what age can kids start scuba diving? 🤿

SSI offers scuba diving programs designed specifically for different age groups:

✸ SSI Explorers (Ages 8–9)
A fun introduction to scuba diving in shallow water up to 2 meters (6 feet).

✸ SSI Try Scuba(Ages 10+)
A supervised try dive in a controlled environment, with a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).

✸ Junior Open Water Diver
Become a certified diver and explore the underwater world safely:
• Ages 10–11: Maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet)
• Ages 12–14: Maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet)

Every program is designed to build confidence, water skills, and a love for the ocean while prioritizing safety and fun.

Tulamben Drop Off 🌞

Also known as Tulamben Wall, this famous dive site was formed by the lava flow from the 1963 eruption of Mount Agung. Starting from just 3 meters and dropping down beyond 80 meters, the wall is now covered in beautiful hard and soft corals, giant gorgonians, and marine life at every depth.

With usually calm conditions and visibility ranging from 10 to 30 meters, Tulamben Drop Off is perfect for everyone from beginner to advanced divers. Whether you stay shallow or explore deeper along the wall, there’s always something to see.

✸ Depth Range - 3 - 80+ meters

✸ Calm conditions and easy navigation make it ideal for relaxed wall diving and improving buoyancy control.

✸ Marine diversity - whitetip reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, giant parrotfish, dogtooth tuna, electric clam, pygmy seahorses, leaf scorpionfish, nudibranchs, lionfish, and many more!

A beautiful mix of wide-angle scenery and macro life all in one dive.
