🪩 October is officially Nudibranch Month! 🪩

Kicking things off with Favorinus tsuruganus — because apparently, being a tiny sea slug wasn’t colourful enough! 🌈🐌✨

Just look at its cerata! 💛🧡
Those finger-like projections are translucent, showing off their yellow-orange digestive gland ducts and striking black tips. Basically, nature gave this little nudibranch a seriously fancy outfit! 😎

🍽️ And here’s the fun part: unlike many nudis that munch on sponges or hydroids, Favorinus tsuruganus has a rather unusual menu — it feeds exclusively on the egg ribbons of other opisthobranchs. Yep… this little guy is basically a nudibranch egg connoisseur! 😂🥚🐌

First Reel of October… and we’re only getting started. Expect more colourful nudibranchs all month long! 🌈
