That’s a wrap on !

Here, Alex recaps the stats that truly made this such a standout workshop in the Lembeh Strait.

29 photographers. 20 different guides. 5 boats. 41 dive sites. 1,868 tanks. 1,357+ critter sightings. And tens of thousands of images created.

From rare blackwater encounters to incredible macro subjects, every dive brought new opportunities to create something extraordinary.

The final image review brought another round of incredibly diverse imagery, making it the perfect way to close out our Photo of the Day series for ! 📸

Among the standout images were a lovely Lemon Goby surrounded by beautiful bokeh from Lucy, a Clown Crab nestled into the sand captured by Karen, and an incredible moment between two Mototi Octopus getting physical, documented perfectly by Mitch.

After a combined 1,868 dives from 29 participants, we experienced an incredible variety of marine life encounters and saw some truly creative imagery. It’s been an absolute pleasure to share the photographers’ work with you throughout .

That brings our Photo of the Day series to a close — but we’re already looking forward to !

Our second-to-last Photo of the Day selections come from Mario, with two images that showcase just how diverse underwater photography can be.

From an incredible capture of one of the most sought-after blackwater subjects, the Blanket Octopus, to a creative interpretation of a school of Razorfish, these images demonstrate the incredible range of subjects, photographic opportunities, and creative possibilities found in Lembeh.

Two very different subjects, two very different approaches and a great reminder that there’s always another perspective to investigate!
