If youâre not seeing progress hereâs why đđź
1. Youâre only going once a week. Consistency beats intensity aim for 2â4 classes weekly if you want noticeable results.
2. Youâre rushing through the movements. Pilates is all about control, precision, and time under tension not speed.
3. Youâre not engaging your core correctly. Pulling from the wrong muscles means youâre missing the full benefits of each exercise.
4. Youâre not challenging yourself. Sticking with the same springs, modifications, or resistance forever can stall your progress.
5. Youâre expecting Pilates to outwork your lifestyle. Sleep, nutrition, hydration, and daily movement all play a huge role in the results you see outside the studio.
1.Choose the right certification program. Donât just pick the cheapest one. Look for a program thatâs recognized, includes anatomy training, and offers plenty of hands-on teaching practice so youâre confident leading real classes.
2. Start teaching before you feel âready.â Practice with friends, family, or small groups while youâre still in training. The more hours you spend cueing and correcting form, the faster youâll become a great instructor.
3. Pick a specialty that makes you stand out. Whether itâs prenatal Pilates, athletic performance, rehabilitation, or strength-focused classes, having a niche can help you attract clients and earn more than instructors who teach only general classes.
