😱 Out of Air Underwater? Here’s What to Do!
Running out of air while diving can be scary — but staying calm and knowing your next steps can save your life. 🌊💨

Stay Calm
Panicking wastes air and makes the situation worse. Take a slow breath and focus.

Signal to Your Buddy
Use the standard “out of air” hand signal (a hand slashing across your throat) and get their attention quickly.

Use an Alternate Air Source
Your buddy should offer their alternate air source (octopus). Breathe from it and ascend together slowly.

#4
Ascend Safely
Never shoot to the surface. Make a controlled ascent, ideally with your buddy, and do a safety stop if possible and safe.
