Freediving School at Nusa Penida Island
Freedive Courses for all levels, Freedive Trips, Yoga The Freediving School is located just 20 meters from the beach.

We are situated in small village Desa Ped on amazing tropical island Nusa Penida only 12 km from Bali. We offer freediving training and freediving courses from beginners to instructors, breath-hold workshops for surfers. We do watsu and aguahara sessions (kind of massage in water and deep relaxation practice.) We have regular yoga classes in our cozy studio. We dance and teach contact improvisatio

Let’s be honest, there’s always a reason not to go.

Too expensive. Wrong timing. No one to go with. Maybe next year.

But next year turns into five years. And the time doesn’t wait😉

Freedive Weekend - New Edition🔥
West Bali - Pemuteran & Menjangan
🗓September 18–20

Menjangan Island is one of Bali's best-kept secrets — pristine walls, untouched reefs, and no crowds. That's where we'll spend our main dive day on Saturday.

We're staying at a seafront property with its own natural hot spring pools.
Every evening we will practice water relaxation (Watsu & Aguahara) right there — steps away from your bungalow. After a full day of freediving, there's nothing quite like floating in warm mineral water under the open sky.

Sunday adds one more surprise: fun diving at Biorock — an underwater sculpture garden where artificial reef structures have transformed into a living, thriving ecosystem.

Morning breathwork and stretching sessions run daily.

Three days that balance depth, movement, and genuine rest. Three days with a team of like-minded people — freediving, relaxing, and having fun.

Spots are very limited!

Before it was a sport, it was a way of life. Long before courses, certifications, or competitions — humans were diving on a single breath to survive.

From the sponge divers of ancient Greece to the Haenyeo women of Korea, freediving has been part of our story for thousands of years.

What if you meet the New Year’s underwater?

We’re heading back to Raja Ampat for a special New Year’s expedition. Two islands, two worlds. One unforgettable way to start 2027.

👉 30 December – 9 January

The first half: Batanta — remote reefs, manta encounters, jungle waterfalls, and a midnight dive to welcome the new year underwater🎄

The second half: a peaceful island homestay with deep line training and focusing on your skills🤿

No crowds. No noise. Just freedivers, blue water, and the start of something new.

Spots are limited. DM to join🌊

Can't equalize upside down? It's probably not what you think.

Most freedivers assume the problem is technique — they just need to learn Frenzel.
But there are plenty of Valsalva divers who equalize perfectly inverted.
So technique isn't the issue.

The answer lies in a small organ most people have never thought about: the soft palate.
Two things close it when you don't want it to.

Swipe to understand both — and what to do about each

Our freediving expeditions are about far more than just freediving.
They're our way of exploring the world and immersing ourselves in Indonesia's extraordinary culture.

On a trip, a single day is so packed with experience that it feels like a month of ordinary life.
You genuinely feel like you're part of an adventure film — and you're not just watching it from the sidelines.
You're playing the lead role!

If this resonates with you, we'd love to have you join our crew on one of our upcoming trips🤗

Maratua 🗓️ 16–22 August

Ever notice how after a freedive the world feels just a little less irritating?
Turns out, there's a very real explanation for that.

In this carousel — why the ocean "reboots" your head so effectively, and why your best thoughts and ideas often show up after a good session.

And if you've been thinking about getting mildly obsessed with breath-holds, equalization and depth — you can sign up for a course in Nusa Penida or one of our freediving trips around Indonesia🙂

Tell us — how does your mind feel after a freedive?🤗

What makes Nusa Penida stand out for freedivers?❤️

✅Every dive here starts from a boat, in a strait with a 500+ m water column — no depth limit, no searching for a "deep site."
✅Visibility stays stable year-round, even in the rainy season, while conditions elsewhere on Bali often turn murky.
✅Many dive sites, plus a daily chance to freedive with Manta Rays.
✅Beautiful nature of the island - you won't be bored here as a nature lover.
✅Our facilities: classrooms, two pools, own dive boats, gym, sauna, ice bath, cafes, and stays within walking distance.

This is Adventurous Freediving with Freedive Nusa: train smarter, dive deeper, travel further.
