There are plenty of reasons why divers choose to take the PADI Sidemount Specialty. 🤿

Do you want to feel more streamlined underwater? Perhaps you’re interested in taking your first steps towards technical diving? Or maybe you just like the idea of carrying your tanks by your side and trying a completely different configuration.

Whatever your reason, sidemount is a great opportunity to develop new skills, challenge yourself and experience diving from a different perspective. 🌊

Our PADI Sidemount Specialty takes place over 3 days:

💜 Day 1: Start in our infinity pool, where you’ll work with your instructor to set up and adjust your equipment, get comfortable with your new configuration, practise your buoyancy and learn essential underwater drills.

💜 Days 2 & 3: Take your skills into open water with 2 boat dives each day, putting your new configuration into practice in real diving conditions.

What a fantastic month August has been! 💜🌊⁠

We’ve been truly spoiled with some incredible megafauna encounters this month, including plenty of sightings of the magnificent Mola alexandrini! 🐟 These gentle giants are what many of our divers come here hoping to encounter — and we never get tired of seeing them!⁠

August was also a month of celebrating, as we said a huge congratulations to two newly certified Divemasters! 🤿💜

And, of course, we couldn’t let the month pass without giving something back to the island we’re lucky enough to call home, so we also hosted another beach clean-up! 🌴🧹⁠
