We are incredibly proud to have sponsored Koming's Divemaster training through our partnership with Daughters of the Deep, as part of our wider commitment to creating more opportunities for local women in the dive industry.

But even more than that, we're proud of HER! Watching Koming's confidence, knowledge, and skills grow throughout her training and seeing her develop into the capable, inspiring dive professional she is today, has been an absolute honour.

She has worked hard to reach this milestone over the last couple of months and we've loved having her warm, bubbly presence around our dive centre.

We can't wait to see Koming leading dives, sharing her passion for the ocean with others, and continuing to inspire more women to follow the same path.

There's so much more to discover underwater than the iconic manta rays and giant sunfish that Nusa Penida is renowned for. In fact, some of the reef's most fascinating residents are the ones you might swim straight past without even noticing!

Knowing what you're looking at can completely change the way you experience a dive. From colourful nudibranchs and perfectly camouflaged crabs to the incredible peacock mantis shrimp, every dive is full of tiny marine marvels waiting to be discovered.

Next time you're underwater, slow down, look a little closer, and you might be surprised by what you find. 👀

Yesterday, on August 7th, we were lucky enough to witness a Balinese cremation ceremony, known as Ngaben!

Ngaben is an important Hindu Balinese ritual that symbolises the release of the soul from the physical body and its journey to reincarnation. These ceremonies bring families and communities together to honour and celebrate the life of someone who has passed away.⁠

This is an important effort that prevents trash being washed into the ocean and harming marine life 🗑️🪸

Spend just one hour of your evening helping us remove litter from our coastline while enjoying beautiful views at golden hour! ☀️
