We’re SO excited to finally launch our first ever Insider Surf Sumbawa Trip 🌊
Sumbawa has some of the most beautiful coastlines, uncrowded waves and perfect conditions for progression that we’ve experienced. We’ve spent a long time carefully putting this trip together to create something really special.
This isn’t just a surf trip. These 5 full days are designed to completely immerse you in surfing progression, both in and out of the water.
Through consistent waves, intensive coaching, surf theory, photo/video analysis and surfing alongside a small group of motivated surfers, our goal is to help you break through the plateau that so many intermediate surfers get stuck in.
Sometimes just a few days in the right environment, with the right coaching and conditions, can completely change the trajectory of your surfing, unlocking things that continue progressing long after the trip ends 🤝
You’ll stay in beautiful oceanview accommodation just a one minute walk from multiple waves, with the chance to surf, analyse, recover and repeat all trip long 🌴
Because spots are very limited and this trip is designed for intermediate to advanced surfers, we ask everyone to complete a short sign-up form before booking. This helps us make sure the trip is the right fit for your surfing level, safety and the overall group dynamic.
If you’re serious about progressing your surfing in warm water, uncrowded waves and an intensive coaching environment… this one is for you 👀
Comment “SUMBAWA” and we’ll send you all the info + application form in your DM’s 📩

Full schedule for 2026 🔥 Swipe >>>
Our surf camp runs as a complete 7-day / 8-night experience, designed to help you build real momentum in your surfing from start to finish.
With fixed start dates, each day is intentionally structured to build on the last, developing your timing, confidence, and consistency in the water step by step.
This goes far beyond just surf sessions. Each day includes focused theory to break down key concepts, alongside in-depth photo analysis throughout the week so you can clearly track your progress and understand exactly what to improve.
You’ll also be part of the same group for the entire week, surfing, learning, and progressing together with your coaches. It creates a supportive environment where everyone pushes each other and shares the journey.
That’s why we don’t offer drop-ins. This is about committing to the process, and seeing what’s possible when you do.

Surfing, first and foremost, is meant to be fun.
Before the goals, before the progression, before the pressure we put on ourselves - it all starts with simply enjoying playing in the ocean and being in the moment.
It’s easy to get caught up in wanting to improve, catch more waves, and be better every session. But when we put too much pressure on ourselves, we often hold ourselves back from progress.
Every surfer has off days (or even weeks, months). Every surfer knows that feeling of wanting more. But even the “bad” sessions have value - they teach you something, even if it’s not obvious right away.
The key is to keep your mind light. Let go of frustration, stay positive, and enjoy the rollercoaster of a journey that surfing takes us on (easier said than done, we know). Because progress doesn’t just come from pushing harder - it comes from being present and open.
And in the end, when you’re truly relaxed, enjoying being in the moment, and not taking yourself too seriously - that’s when the best waves seem to come your way 🌊

The pop-up is one of the most important skills in surfing 🌊🏄♂️
A lot of surf schools teach an easy way to stand up that works well on big soft tops. You’ll get to your feet quickly and have fun straight away.
But as your surfing progresses, that same technique can start to limit you.
We spend extra time teaching a more professional pop-up, one that helps you land in the same perfect stance every single time. The kind of stance that works on any board and in steeper waves.
It can feel a little harder at the beginning, but building the right muscle memory early is much easier than trying to over-write it later.
Because without a solid set stance, progressing your turns and control becomes really difficult.
So yes, we could make it easier for you at the start… but we’d rather set you up for the rest of your surfing journey.

What can we say, we’ve had the most amazing 2025, and we truly can’t thank everyone who joined our camp this year enough. 🩵🏄♀️
You guys make us love what we do, and we genuinely feel like we have the best job in the world.
Your support has allowed us to grow our family - humans, dogs, cats, and horses - and for that we are forever grateful. Especially to those who have supported us from the very beginning, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We’ve achieved so much, and this post is a reminder of everything we’ve built together. A huge shoutout as well to our incredible team and all of our partners around our lovely little village of Gerupuk.
We can’t wait to do it all again next year - bring on 2026 ✨

Paddling into new waves hits different when you’ve got the right guidance and support. 🌊🏄♀️🤝🏾
Coaching isn’t just about tips and technique, it’s about encouragement, confidence, patience, and learning to read the ocean together. We always encourage our students to catch their own waves first, but with so much to think about in the beginning, a little push now and then helps them experience the takeoff and builds commitment.
With someone in the water beside you, progress feels smoother, safer, and way more fun. 🤙🏾

You really have to be here to feel it - but trust us, our BBQ night? It’s not a miss.
Two happy guests Mac and Ines, diving into fresh catches, laughter in the air, and that smoky, spicy aroma you just can’t get through a screen.
Good food, good company, and nights like these are what make the camp feel like home.

Meet Herman - always smiling, always bringing the good vibes.
If he catches a wave on the way back to the boat, you better believe that grin is getting even bigger.
Chatty and cheerful, he’s the kind of coach who makes learning feel easy - and fun.
Good mood? Check. Great teacher? Absolutely. And that steeze? Unmistakable. You can spot Herman a mile away by his signature style on the wave.

That smile says everything - and we’ve been lucky enough to see it more than once.
Steph first joined us last year, back when we were just running lessons, and she’s recently brought her magic back to the water with us. Her energy out there is the kind that makes you want to paddle harder, laugh louder, and stay out just a little longer.
It’s proof that surfing isn’t just about the waves you catch, but the people you share them with - and Steph’s the kind of person who makes every session better just by being there.

Meet Ginger - full of fire and character, finally in a place where she can just be.
She’s had a rough start in life, but now she’s safe, loved, and as feisty as ever.
She also happens to be living proof that childhood dreams can come true - just ask Lucy, who always dreamed of having a horse of her own.
These two are a perfect match: strong-willed, full of heart, and better together.
