PADI Course Director Holly is demonstrating methods of teaching various parts of the course and ways in which the course can be delivered in a safe, fun and beneficial way. Candidates are also practicing methods of setting up and delivering each training of the program.

During the PADI Instructor Examination they will be assessed on the Rescue Exercise 7; unconscious diver at the surface. The next PADI IDC Gili Trawangan starts on August 5th 2026

A Confined Water Diagnostics Workshop on the PADI Scuba Diving Instructor Development Course ( ) with Platinum Course Director at Blue Marlin Dive | Gili Trawangan!

During the PADI IDC Gili Trawangan sessions candidates will role play Instructor and students and will take turns in presenting in water dive training topics from the PADI Open Water Course. By the end of the program these guys will be able to deliver the confined portion of the PADI Open Water Course quickly, easily and efficiently in an educational and easy to understand way.

After each candidate has presented their individual portion of the course they will be evaluated and Platinum PADI Course Director Holly will provide feedback. The feedback is generally based around previous experience of over 23 years teaching these very programs and real-life experience-based techniques to overcome situational and circumstantial problems and thus delivering the required training in a quick, fun and easy to understand way. Having also issued approximately 4000 PADI Instructor certifications Holly is the perfect person to consult when making the transition into a new career knowing exactly what is expected from new instructors and of course what new scuba diving instructors should expect from the diving industry

Instructor candidates taking the July PADI IDC Gili Trawangan are taking part in the PADI DSD Workshop.

The Discover Scuba Diving Program is an experience designed to give new divers a taste of what it's like to dive and is aimed at those people who just want to experience the underwater world. The experience program consists of a briefing, a pool session and an ocean experience to no greater than 12 meters.

Here Instructor candidates can be seen practicing the pre briefing. Industry Award Winning 14 x Platinum PADI Course Director will provide a variety of delivery options and candidates can than chose a method that best suits their personality that delivers the information in a fun, safe and educational way.

A "Massive" welcome to all professional 's taking the PADI IDC Gili Trawangan Program this July!

In just a few weeks these guys will have finished the PADI in Gili Islands, with Multiple Award Winning 14 x Platinum Course Director & will be ready to start a brand new career teaching others to dive.

During the PADI Scuba Diving Instructor Course, candidates will also take part in the Emergency First Response Instructor Course.

During the EFRI Program Instructor Candidates will learn to demonstrate and teach first aid programs to both divers and non divers.

Entry-level training diagnostics workshop on the PADI IDC in Gili Trawangan.

Candidates learning a range of tried and tested teaching techniques to train new scuba divers in a fun and educational way.

Instructor candidates on the June PADI IDC Gili Trawangan are taking part in the Discover Scuba Diving Workshop.

Candidates will role play both as instructors and as participants. During this time they will simulate the DSD experience in terms of providing a fun and safe experience to brand new divers.
