Many families have been displaced due to the landslides hope we all can come together to help the affected. special NOTE 8 am there will be an airforce rescue helicopter going around in Biyagama, Malwana, Kelaniya areas.

Please pass the message to anyone trapped to get on top of their roofs and waive or roll out a bedsheet so the helicopter can see from above.

These are professional rescue teams and its very safe and need not to worry. You dont need to climb or hang in and swing in air.

They will winch the victims upto the helicopter before they move.
