🥊 THE CHECK HOOK: HIT, PIVOT, GET OUT.

When your opponent keeps rushing forward and putting pressure on you, you don’t always have to retreat in a straight line.

Use the check hook to catch them coming in and angle yourself out of danger. 🔄

✅ Left check hook
✅ Right check hook
✅ Time it against the jab
✅ Time it against the cross
✅ Use their forward momentum against them

The key is TIMING. ⏱️

Don’t just throw the hook and hope for the best, read the attack, catch them as they step in, pivot off and reposition yourself.

Hit. Angle. Reset.

Learn the details. Understand the timing. Make your movement purposeful.
