Untuk memulai gerakan tersebut mulailah merangkak dengan tangan lurus dengan bahu, posisikan lutut berada di bawah pinggul. Gerakkan tangan beberapa inci kedepan dengan jari tangan melebar/merenggang. Biarkan telapak tangan memberikan tekanan pada tikar.
Rapatkan jari kaki bawah dan perlahan-lahan mendorong pinggul keatas sehingga membentuk huruf V terbalik. Gerakkan bahu jauh dari telinga dengan kaki yang melebar selebar pinggul dan lutut sedikit ditekuk.
