How do you find balance with food/be able to indulge without going crazy/indulge without feeling guilt? 🍕
And here’s the secret.
You ready for it?
CHOOSE. To. Not. Let. Guilt. Be. Associated. With. Food.
That’s the secret. That’s what changed everything for me.
I stop letting the guilt emotion stay whenever I ate “off” of my “diet” (a sentence I hate but that’s for another time lol).
The feeling of guilt may come when you over indulge, but guess what?
You don’t have to accept it.
You can feel it come and then let it pass you right by.
I think people seem to think that food guilt is like this right of passage for fit people.
“Ooh I had so much pizza this weekend, I was so bad!!”
Like it’s the qualifier we have to hide behind in order to talk about our indulgences and keep the title of “fit”.
Like “yeah, I ate bad but I feel guilty about it! I’m still !”.
What if you tried eating the pizza and not feeling guilty?
Eating the pizza, enjoying the pizza, and removing the factor of calories or “backtracking on your diet” that you think it causes?
Reject the guilt. Enjoy yourself. You deserve that.
If you have a fitness goal, trust yourself enough to know you’ll eventually get there.
And you’ll get there a LOT faster if you stop spending every Monday recovering from the emotional turmoil of “omg I screwed up again!! I’m behind!!”
You’re not behind. You can’t be behind because there’s no one in front of you. This is YOUR journey. No one else is in your line with you.
So relax.
Eat the pizza.
And reject the guilt. ❤️

Has your weight loss plateaued?
It’s normal during ANY diet for weight loss to stall. This means you’re currently eating at your ‘new maintenance’. Maybe you’ve still got a few extra kilos to lose, but you can’t seem to take your diet any further without severely restricting yourself (I.e starving yourself or doing loads of cardio).
This is when you should start a reverse diet. Which simply means to slowly increase calories over a period of time.
This will allow you to lose the last few kilos on your second diet attempt. .
Maybe you’ve had a hard time losing ANY weight! Your calories are already drastically low and you’ve got no room to move. I see this ALL the time with clients!
If this is something you struggle with & you keep going through a perpetual cycle of bulking/cutting without seeing any results that’s where I can help!
Don’t let nutrition control every waking moment of your life. Especially when it all goes by so fast...
I still have a few spots for 1:1 coaching (Link in bio. Let me create a tailored coaching solution to help KEEP the fat off & have fun 🙂

That which you don’t hate, you will eventually tolerate👇🏻
If I start really becoming comfortable and loving where I’m at, I start tolerating it.
So I’m constantly chasing the better version of myself everyday.
And with chasing self improvement comes the feeling of being vulnerable because of the risk.
Don’t get me wrong, its a scary thing!
But if you're willing to take the risks of vulnerability, on the other side of that fear is gratitude, excitement, passion, and joy in multiples you could never experience before.
If you have decided you want to achieve the body you have always wanted, give it EVERYTHING you’ve got.
You might have a few slip-ups along the way and fall off track. But the longer you stick at it, the easier it becomes and with consistency comes progress.
Believe in yourself 100% and follow through with the promises you make to yourself.
Take the risk of being vulnerable and you'll begin to experience life in abundance.

If you spend more time beating yourself up than you spend actually getting results, I hear you.

If you’re sick of losing and gaining the same 2-5kg and have so much more to lose and you’re tired of the endless cycle, I hear you.
If you’re mentally exhausted by your obsession with food, I hear you.
I hear you, because for so long, I was you.
I hated that I wasn’t consistent.
I hated how many times I promised myself, “My diet is going to go PERFECTLY this week, I can do this” only to fail myself by Wednesday, or best, by the weekend.
& I hated myself for falling into the perpetual cycle of cutting and regaining all the weight.
That’s where in 2016, I committed myself to letting go of that & finding the true way out.
The way to actual “balance”.
The way to actually feeling good, and feeling excited about my journey.
And I did it.
I dropped the self hate for self respect. I dropped the food obsession for a healthy balance.
I stopped tipping the scales at 2-3kg heavier and found the way to maintain my healthy weight range without struggle.
& I developed a program to help you do it too .
Welcome to the The Body Blue Print - my first group coaching program where the goal isn’t JUST weight loss - but a total mindset makeover to help you finally be fit for LIFE without the nonstop mental battle.
12 weeks of group videos calls w/me, exclusive weekly video modules about every single thing you’re struggling with, & workouts and nutrition guidance to boot.
Are you ready to get over the obsession with food & abs, & get the body you want without the stress or pressure?

You will never be motivated all the time.
But why?
Well, there are a lot of reasons.
But what I’ve found is that most people lose motivation because they’re either all in or all out.
There is no middle ground.
You shouldn’t feel like it’s one or the other.
I’m sure there’s been a point where if you can’t be perfect with your nutrition and training, you would prefer just to give up and do nothing at all.
There are going to be days where you feel like you messed up and you feel like you’re not going to make progress.
But just remember your progress is dictated on what you do 80% of the time.
Understand the biggest reason you fail is because you feel like you have to be perfect.
And if you’re aren’t then you aren’t making enough progress.
So stop being so damn hard on yourself. Achieving the body you want just takes time. Trust me.
So don’t stop. Don’t quit. Take your time & the journey.

For everyone who thinks I’ve “found perfect balance” in my fitness journey, I haven’t.
I don’t ALWAYS eat perfectly.
Sometimes I indulge too much.
Sometimes I skip workouts.
I LOVE food. And I love... not moving at all sometimes 😂 .
So to think that I’ll be maintaining my ideal physique 365 days of the year is false.
But here is what IS true for me:
✔️I stay within the same 2-3kg of weight all year long. Because when I start to be over-indulge, I recognize it, and pull back for a bit. This really helps me to not ever be overwhelmed with guilt or remorse for anything I’ve over-indulged in or any time spent working out a little less.
✔️I do NOT beat myself up when I gain a few kilos.
✔️I remind myself that MY balance comes in waves. Times where I’m giving more effort (like during a comp prep), and times where I take breaks. I ALWAYS workout consistently and eat well MOST of the time, but sometimes, it’s not as big of a priority. & that’s ok.
Find the balance that let’s you LIVE 🙂

Today is a perfect day to take sometime to reflect on breaking down old habits and building new ones. Remember, you create your own reality.
Unless you take proactive steps to achieving the body you want, nothing will ever change.
My biggest piece of advice?
Stop contemplating and GET STARTED.
Telling your friends what you’re going to do to get in shape may seem like you’re taking action. And that can easily turns into weeks, weeks turn into months, and before you know it a year passes you by having done nothing at all.
Let me tell you all you NEED is to see progress and that will give you the momentum and motivation you need to keep going.
Remember progress won’t happen over night, but with consistent action you will see results. I promise you that.
Let’s get your life changing transformation started 🙂 👉🏼

Yeah, eating healthy is sometimes hard.
Working out instead of watching a movie is sometimes hard. Investing money in your health is sometimes hard. Getting up an hour earlier to fit in a workout is sometimes hard.
But you know what else is hard?
Continually being disappointed in yourself for not following through for yourself.
THAT’S hard.
Feeling sick and tired all of the time from not taking care of yourself.
THAT’S hard.
Watching other people reach the goals you set for yourself but didn’t reach because you gave up.
Waking up every Monday and saying “Ok, I’m starting over today!” when you know that’s what you said last Monday... and the Monday before.
THAT’S hard.
Giving up is hard. Pressing on is hard. If it’s all hard... why not choose the hard that will get you somewhere amazing? Push past today’s discomfort, this week’s discomfort, in order for a more amazing next week?
To stop, STOPPING... and just keep putting one step forward in front of the other.
