Get ready for fun-filled sessions packed with athletics, handball, games, movement, and lots of laughter 😄🎯🏅

Well done to the boys today at the community games national finals. Both Cathal and Fiachra played some great handball. Congratulations to Fiachra on reaching the final and claiming Silver. Thanks to venue, all organisers and refs.

Please support our local tidy towns today with their fundraising efforts. Lots of great projects lined up for our village.

Tidy Towns have a number of ongoing and new projects for 2026. Some of which are set out in the pictogram. In particular Project No 5 is a Community Project which is part funded by Longford Co Co. This project focuses on the centre of the village, update a footpath area to include a low planted space, put in a raised pedestrian crossing and new bus stop sign. All of which will add to the appearance of the village. However, the remainder of the funding c. €4,700 to be raised by the Community. A number of fundraising events will take over the coming months to raise the needed funds, your support is welcomed. We will keep you posted of such events
