🚣‍♀️ WOMEN ON THE WATER – LONGFORD 🚣‍♀️

Our hugely popular Women On The Water kayaking programme is back for 2026!

This programme is designed to encourage women to get involved in the sport of kayaking in a fun, supportive and social environment.

Over the 4-week programme you will:
✅ Learn basic kayaking skills
✅ Build confidence on the water
✅ Meet new people
✅ Work towards Canoe Ireland Level 1 Kayak Proficiency Skills Certification

📍 Locations: Clondra, Abbeyshrule & Leebeen
🕖 Time: 7pm – 9pm
💶 Cost: Only €30 for the full 4-week programme
🛶 All equipment provided

You do not need to be a strong swimmer, but should feel reasonably comfortable in the water. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids are provided to make flotation easier.

Darkness Into Light 2026

Thank you to all who joined us for our Darkness Into Light paddle yesterday morning. We had a perfect morning for it.

This Sunday on the River Inny.

As a club, we are taking part in this years Darkness into Light on Saturday 9th May.

This morning we held our third day of Level 1 and 2 training with Bob.

Thank you to everyone who showed up. The sunshine made an appearance too.

We will be back next Sunday 19th April for the final day of training.
