Division 2 Round 7
John Mitchels 0-9
Sean O’Mahonys 3-12
A defeat on the Point Road to Sean O’Mahonys last night. A tight and cagey first half saw the O’Mahonys go into the half time break with a lead of 1-6 to 0-6.
Sean O’Mahonys extended their lead early in the second half but our lads kept the pressure on and it remained a 4 point game heading into the final 10 minutes. Two very late O’Mahonys goals sealed the win for them to take the points.
Next up for the lads is a home game against St Brides on Thursday night.
