We’ve got 3 fun games for our Arklow Little Vikings to try:

Great session today with our Arklow Little Vikings!!!

We had bowling, foam javelin and athletics training.

All new activities and they smashed it!!! We will continue to work on these new skills over the coming weeks!!

At Arklow Little Vikings, we believe that being active should be fun, inclusive and something every child can enjoy! 🌟

The Special Olympics Young Athletes programme encourages children to build healthy habits through simple everyday activities — dancing, running, playing games, getting outdoors and having fun together. 🥳

It’s not about being the fastest or the strongest… it’s about joining in, having fun, building confidence and giving every child the opportunity to shine. 💪✨

Here are some great ideas to try at home:

☀️Arklow Little Vikings End of Season Sports Day!

What an incredible season it has been for our amazing athletes!

To celebrate all the hard work, achievements, friendships, and fun throughout the year, we are inviting all our athletes and their families to join us for our End of Season Sports Day.
There will be plenty of fun activities, games, laughter, and opportunities for everyone to get involved. Most importantly, it’s a chance to celebrate every athlete and everything they have accomplished this season. 💙❤️

Well done Arklow!!! What a phenomenal community we have ❤️🌈🌻

A milestone moment for inclusivity in County Wicklow has been reached, after Arklow became the first town in Wicklow to be granted Autism Friendly Town status, a recognition driven by a community-led initiative built on years of groundwork by local advocates and support groups.
