Congratulations to the National Poomsae Squad that competed in the London Open G1 and the President’s Cup G3 this weekend in London.

A great weekend of very level of poomsae in all categories with the Irish players showing improvement in their performances and securing bronze medals in the Pairs category.

Well what a day yesterday for the club in Belfast
We brought 20 poomsae players and 11 fighters and By God did they do us proud

Great performances from everyone 👏👏🇮🇪

We have our first team trophy 🏆 and couldn't be more excited about this achievement 🥳🥳🥳

Thanks to master Glen Culbert Thomas McGuinness Kambiz R Ali Peter Stewart Adrian Williams Gerry Reilly and all referees in both events it was a fantastic day

Taekwondo Ireland clubs did a fantastic job yesterday and we have our first poomsae team trophy.

There will be a National Squad & Competition Preparation session next Sunday 11. Apr.2026.

This sessions is open for Green Tag (7th Kup) and above with poomsae knowledge up to their current competition category and are great preparation for the upcoming Northern Ireland Poomsae Championships on 18th April 2026.
