It is with sadness that the club announce the death of Brian Mc
Ginn. Brian was a frequent visitor to the club over the last number of years as he was ever present to support his grandsons Finn, Cael and Derry Sullivan when they lined out for the Moors. Originally from Cortown outside Kells, like many a Gael he always came with his pen and paper to record the scores for himself.
The club would like to send our support and condolences to Monica, (Paul), Finn, Cael and Derry and indeed all the Mc Ginn family at this tough time.

It’s that time of the year again where hundreds of children come together to honour a man who meant so much to our club. Bígí linn ó 9.30am for the opening ceremony with the closing ceremony taking place at 3.45pm.

We had a very successful clean up day in the club on Saturday where almost all jobs completed from the list including a few additional ones added late on. The weather stopped some outdoor painting of the steps in the stand but overall it was a success. Many thanks to all who turned up and helped out. Missing from the photos are Tom Concannon, Jonathan Carr, Colm Menton, John Lynch, Frank Reidy, Stephen Reilly, Mark Byrne and Brian Thomas who co-ordinated the event. (Hopefully we haven’t left anyone out). As usual the 11.00 break with the Bacon rolls and cakes went down a treat so thanks to all who provided same. A great success overall.
