While the club were putting the finishing touches to pitch & clubhouse on Saturday, Social Camogie were out doing our thing in St Anne's, Bohernabreena.

This blitz was in memory of Orla Byrne & a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Ireland. It was clear to everyone how important Orla was to her club, family & friends.

We had a great day playing 3 games, followed by dinner, dancing & awards.

Congratulations to our Eva on her awards 'Endless energy on the field of play'🏃‍♀️

All day & night the best DJ in town played the best tunes🎵encouraging Dancing Social Camogie💃🎵💃

Another great day spent at Social Camogie in Eire Òg, Greystones, Co Wicklow.

A super Social Camogie blitz playing St Judes, Eire Og, Oliver Plunketts & Kilmacud Crokes.

Afterwards we were served an incredible spread of sambos, treats & tea/coffee.

Comhghairdeas lenár foireann Camógaíochta U16 Div C who put in an incredible shift to win the shield final against a tough Navan O'Mahonys side yesterday.

​From the first whistle to the last, their work rate, determination, and heart on the pitch were second to none.

​This win is the culmination of an exceptional year of effort across the entire year. Earlier this year, this same group of girls reached the Camogie Feile Semi-Final, and they have just gone from strength to strength ever since.

​We couldn't be prouder of every single one of the girls.

Now, it's time to turn our focus to football, as all these girls are in Semi-Final action over the next few days in the U16 Championship.

What a brilliant day for our Social Camogie team at the 2026 Electric Ireland Social Camogie National Blitz in Kilkenny yesterday!

The team had an amazing time, with plenty of great camogie, fun and laughs along the way. And the green mohawks definitely made us stand out! 💚🏑

A fantastic day with a great bunch of ladies. Well done everyone! 👏
