Congratulations to Maze’s 9 new blue belts. Along with the advancement of the belt comes increased responsibility. All new graduated students with tight waist belts. We are proud of you guys.

Congratulations to all the kids graduating today. 13 kids moved to a new belt, many others received stripes in their belts. The Jiu Jitsu journey is tough but beautiful and rewarding.

Congratulations for the competition team and thanks a lot for those coming to support. It was amazing.

Maze will be 2 years next month, even being a small team, we were 3rd best academy in this competition. Such a big achievement.

Thanks a lot the staff to organise a really high standard competition in Athlone, our lovely town.

Learning how to fight to avoid violence.

Insecurity in dealing with pressure can lead to violence when an insecure individual feels cornered.

On the other hand, those who have confidence in themselves become calmer and more tolerant to deal with challenging situations.

We are delighted to bring to a seminar at the Maze in Athlone. Sam McNally is a big name in international Jiu Jitsu, one of the greatest and most technical Irish grapplers, with achievements in his career such as the ADCC Europenan Trials, and so many others in major IBJJF events. This is a great opportunity for us to learn from this excellent athlete.
