To All Underage Coaches
In recent months, there has been a significant amount of damage caused around the club, particularly to our juvenile goalposts. This is due to a number of factors, including goals being left on the pitches and subsequently being moved or thrown over fences by adult teams, resulting in serious damage.
To help minimise damage to club equipment, all coaches are asked to please remove juvenile goals after each training session and place them in the designated storage areas on Pitches 1 and 2. Regardless of who is training after your session, all goals must be returned to these designated areas.
For coaches who may be short-handed, please seek assistance from parents to help move and store the goals. Please ensure that goals are stored neatly, in single file, outside the main fences.
In addition, please encourage players to remove bottles and discard general litter from the pitches after training sessions and matches. This is essential to keep our robotic mower operating efficiently and to minimise the risk of damage to the machine.
Your cooperation in helping maintain our facilities and equipment is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Club Committee

A huge thank you to Naomh Mearnóg for hosting the fantastic Govan Jolliffe-Byrne U14 Tournament.

Our boys enjoyed three highly competitive group games against St Manchan’s (Offaly), St Peter’s (Dublin) and the hosts, Naomh Mearnóg. It was a particularly strong group, with two of the teams progressing all the way to the final, where Naomh Mearnóg emerged victorious over St Manchan’s.

The tournament provided an outstanding learning opportunity for our players, who gained valuable experience competing against quality opposition in a well-organised and enjoyable environment.

We greatly appreciated the warm welcome, superb organisation and hospitality throughout the day. Congratulations to Naomh Mearnóg on hosting such a successful tournament and on their well-deserved victory.

Thank you again to everyone involved - a superb tournament!!!!
