The WPA got going in 2007 on the back of the Inter Counties for which we entered in 2006. Our very first event was held in the Grand Hotel Moate where we had 60+ entrants, with the success of this event, we pushed it on more, just up the road in The Auld Shebeen's Club S until the end of 2011 having played several tournaments for Men, Ladies and Juniors.
