Brilliant running by Luke Walsh to finish 6th in u18 Boys 1500m final in which the previous championship record was smashed by the 1st and 2nd place winners.

Our super middle distance runner Luke Walsh had another great result coming 6th in the All Ireland u18 Boys 1,500m final. Luke finished in a time of 4:07 minutes.

Luke has had a fantastic track season having finished 6th in u18 boys 800m, 6th in u18 boys 1,500m and 11th in the u20 boys 1,500m. Brilliant consistent running by this very talented middle distance runner.

We are very proud of you Luke!
