The hospitality of the crew at Athlone Athletics Club is second to none. They had a post-race buffet after their half-marathon/10k recently and I put 3lbs weight back on that I had lost through careful dieting over the week prior. It was worth it though! I have zero regrets.

Oh, and there was even brown bread on offer that won a prize at the Tullamore Ploughing Championships. It was the best brown bread EVER!
