Struggling with motivation??
Here are some simple tips to help you stay on track
1. Write down your goals
The first step in achieving your goals is to set them. Without having clear goals set then your not going to make much headway. They can be as simple as wanting to be able to do 10 pushups or maybe 3 pull ups.
2. Working Towards the goal
Break down your main goal into smaller goals. For many some goals may be to lose weight sometimes it can be a large amount 10kg+ or maybe just 2/3kgs. To stay on track try to break it down that in 2 weeks I aim to loose 1.5kg and then in another two weeks aim to achieve the the same or close to it.
3. Have a friend to keep you accountable
A gym buddy is someone who pushes you to reach your fitness goals and expects the same encouragement from you. They can also make working out more fun and keep you coming back to the gym.
4. Rewards yourself for milestones
when working hard you can take time to treat yourself, being accountable and changing your lifestyle can be hard so why not have something to motivate you without knocking you off track.
5 Join a fitness class
Not feeling super motivated for your workout then why not join a fitness class. Loose yourself and let someone plan the workout for you. Classes are a great way to push yourself as you workout in a group for more motivation and support.
6. Plan your workout ahead of time
Going in without a plan of action is difficult to decide what to do. so plan ahead that way you know what your going to do and it helps to achieve goals fast as it helps you to be consistent.
