Unfortunately, they narrowly missed out on the playoffs by just one point — but you all did us proud. Well done, ladies!

Hard luck to our Division 4 Ladies, Emma, Maria, Trish and Deirdre who faced Kilkenny. There were tough matches, great tennis, and plenty of determination, but unfortunately it wasn’t our day.

👏 Our Division 2 ladies secured an impressive home win over Wexford—fantastic performance from Clare, Eileen, Ann, and Tetyana!

💪 The Division 3 men continued the success with a great home win against Hillbrook. Well done to Jakub, Antonio, Kieran and Michael!

👏 The Division 3 ladies—Helen, Catherine, Florencia, and Maura—put up a strong fight away to Hillbrook. While it didn’t go their way this time, it was a great battle. Well done, ladies!

Athy Tennis Club had a busy weekend in the Leinster Regional Spring League, with three teams in action.

On Saturday, our Division 3 men gave it their all in a hard-fought match against Carlow, but the result didn’t go our way.

Today, both our Division 3 and Division 4 ladies teams took to the courts at home. The Division 3 team battled to a 2–2 draw against Gorey, before clinching a fantastic win in the deciding tiebreak! Meanwhile, the Division 4 ladies put in a strong performance against Carlow, but it was Carlow who came out on top despite a gallant effort from Athy.

Well done to all our players for their effort and commitment! 🎾
