Courtlough Shooting Grounds was established in 1996 by former Irish Olympian Richard Flynn, and his son William, also an International grade shooter and Irish team member. At Courtlough Shooting Grounds, we are proud of our reputation for providing our members and customers with premium shooting facilities, including a Gun showroom & retail store, fully trained & qualified instructors, and of course the relaxed surroundings of our Clubhouse Bar & Grill. Since our formation in 1996, Courtlough has expanded to become Ireland’s Premier Shooting Ground offering disciplines such as Down the Line, Olympic Trap, Automatic Ball Trap, S***t, Sporting, Fitasc and Compak Shooting. All shooting layouts are fully covered in, shielded from the weather elements, which makes it an ideal venue all year round. Our roots and expertise in Clay Shooting stem from 1950, when former Irish Olympian Richard Flynn began his shooting career and paved the way for the next 3 generations of The Flynn Family to follow in his footsteps, representing Ireland on an International platform. Throughout this time, we have expanded our Shooting Grounds to include R***e and Pistol Shooting, with two Private Members ranges and a range designed specifically for beginners. Our ethos has remained the same – to provide state of the art shooting facilities, and the very best shooting instruction & experience in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. All our staff members hold professional qualifications awarded by the CPSA & NRA. We provide our clients with instruction and techniques that are suited to their individual requirements, whether for game or clay shooting. A solid foundation and impeccable safety, form the base from which true talent and personal style can flourish. Whether you are a novice learning from scratch, an experienced shot, or simply looking to ‘keep your eye in’, our shooting lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs and ability. We pride ourselves in providing the facilities, disciplines and tuition that will bring a Novice shooter right the way through to International level. Our expert tuition will ensure that you will both benefit from and enjoy your time spent here at Courtlough Shooting Grounds. Since its formation, Courtlough has expanded and welcomed Flynn Park to its portfolio of activities.
