Minis Rugby: We are back!
We can’t wait to welcome all our Minis players back this week!
With new initiatives for the upcoming season along with a new approach, we are very excited for the new season!
There will be a parents meeting at 6.30pm on Thursday for parents of all age groups to explain everything but the only change needed to announce at the moment is that Minis will now be on Pitch 4 (to the left of the clubhouse).
We can’t wait to see you all this week!

There are a lot of myths out there surrounding rugby.
“Rugby is just for boys.”
“Rugby is too expensive.”
“I’m not big enough to play rugby.”
“I like rugby but don’t want to play so there’s no point getting involved.”
Ignore the myths; get the facts!

Balbriggan RFC would love to invite you to our Family Fun Day on Sunday, September 6th!
This is an event open to the public and our members! Why not come down on the day:
• jump on some bouncy castles
• grab lunch at the BBQ and food trucks
• grab a coffee at our club coffee shop
• play some tag rugby
• grab an ice cream to cool down after it
The Beachy Cup will also be kicking off at 2pm on the day, meaning you’ll have even more entertainment with rugby being played across three pitches!
Come down and check out our facilities. We will also have registration tables on the day for anyone who would like to sign up!
Make sure you book this into your calendar; it promises to be a fantastic day!

Night seven of Rugby on the Green and another fantastic night in Taylor Hill with great numbers.
There were also some leaflets delivered to the kids and surrounding houses with a 20% discount of membership for the coming season.
We had more laughter, passing, kicking, and try scoring as our summer initiative continued.
With only one night left, make sure to get out to the green this week to join the fun!
We will be back in Taylor Hill this coming Thursday at 6.30pm for the next session! Sessions are completely free and open to kids of all ages. You don’t need any rugby experience - just come down and let our coaches take care of the rest!
All we ask is you hang around in case your child needs you as there are no toilet facilities or taps on the green.
As always, a big thank you to the residents and the THRA for the support and welcome!
A huge thank you also must go to the volunteers and coaches who help keep the fun going week on week!
Thanks finally to Glenveagh for their sponsorship, which allows such an initiative to happen.

The photos shared were taken at a Balbriggan RFC and Taylor Hill Residents Association event and may be used to promote this initiative and the Club/Taylor Hill only. If a photo of your child has been used and you would like it removed, please get in touch and we will do so without hesitation.

A big thank you to Mullingar RFC for their hospitality today in hosting our Men’s squad today as part of their preseason.
This is the second season in a row they have travelled to Mullingar RFC to use their facilities as part of an in-Ireland tour and they look forward to returning again in the future.
