Geraldine Butler School of Ballet

Ballet classes for children aged 4 plus, following the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance syllabus.

Children who have not done ballet before enter the school as beginners. They are assessed by and outside examiner who is an associate of the Royal Academy of Dance. It takes at least two years to reach this stage as the children need to spend time learning core positions and body posture before they are ready to take the exams.
