There’s great excitement building in Ballina as two of our own, David Cawley and Fergal Birrane, have been named Grand Marshals for the 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Proud Ballina men who have made their mark in sport, David and Fergal truly represent this year’s theme — “Pride of Ballina.” 💚

Join us as the town comes alive with colour, music, community groups, sports clubs and plenty of Mayo spirit for a fantastic day of celebration.

This is Kate Colum. Kate sadly passed away in 2023 from sepsis. Kate’s parents together with the HSE have created the ‘ Kate Mnemonic’ in her memory. This will assist healthcare professionals in their examinations of children & adults with additional needs.
