Ballinasloe Lions Hockey Club

We had a fun day hosting the lovely Athenry Swans Hockey Club at Ballinasloe. The weather was good and a few fun matches were played and then some nice refreshments at the AFC clubhouse. Thanks to everyone for making this fab day happen 🙏🙌🏑

Players of the week are Ciara and Sean. Both well deserved for so much improvement shown this season. Welll done 👏🙌🏑

Our U11 boys did us super proud in Dangan playing alongside Athenry Swans Hockey Club boys. Thanks to the Galway Tribes for hosting us.

Players of the week!! Our 2 newest and youngest players Hazel and Conor, have been real champions in the last few weeks. They are fearless playing with the older kids and showing so much talent and promise already 🤩🙌

Our player of the week is Aaron, the club's silent achiever, lovely young man with so much talent, growing in skill and confidence every week 🙌🏑

Our player of the week is Declan, another new member whose only been playing a month. Declan is so impressive with his skill and technique in such a shot span of time. He is a very determined young man like all our members and we're so happy with their growth in the sport 🙌🏑
