Ballincollig Karate

The club was very lucky to have Alison Hennessy Sensei teaching last night, Alison is a very accomplished international competitor and high level karate-ka and our members will greatly benefit from the opportunity to train with her, a big thank you again to Alison for sharing her knowledge and experience with us!

Great results at the Southwest Ireland Open Championships in Kerry this weekend. Our five members that competed picked up 2 Gold 🥇 a silver 🥈and 2 bronze 🥉medals across some high level opposition. Great spirit and effort shown all around! 🎉

A huge well done to our members who competed yesterday at the Piltown open championships in Clonmel.

Our small squad of 5 competitors managed to win 2 gold 🥇, 5 silver 🥈and 4 bronze 🥉medals and picked up valuable experience against tough opposition.

A big thank you to Piltown Karate for hosting a well run event and all the organisers, referees, judges and parents who volunteered their time on the day.
