🥋🖤💚 A MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR MAVERICKS 💚🖤🥋

We are absolutely buzzing to officially announce our affiliation with Kristian Woodmansee! 🔥🔥

This is a massive step forward for Mavericks, and honestly, we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.

Kristian isn’t just an incredible competitor and an expert coach — he has already been helping us behind the scenes with building the academy, talking through our goals, our coaching, our competition team and the direction we want to take Mavericks.

And that’s what makes this so exciting.

We’re not just putting a name on the wall.

We’re building something together. 🖤💚

Kristian brings an incredible level of experience:

🏆 IBJJF World Champion
🏆 3× Pan-American Champion
🏆 2× European Champion
🥋 Expert coach with years of elite competition experience

But more importantly, he’s already invested in helping us develop the academy and helping us create something that can continue to grow for years to come.

And this is only the beginning…

🔥 Kristian will be coming to Mavericks in Spring 2027 for a camp!

We want to make this a weekend our team will never forget — training, learning, competing, grading and building that proper team atmosphere.

I genuinely believe this is going to be a massive chapter in the Mavericks journey.

We have huge plans for the academy, and having someone of Kristian’s experience helping guide us along the way is something we’re incredibly grateful for.

Thank you, Kristian, for believing in what we’re building.

The journey is only getting started. 🖤💚🔥

MORE THAN A GYM. 🥊🥋💚🖤

What we’re building at Mavericks is about more than just getting fitter, learning to fight or getting better on the mats.

It’s about community.

It’s about showing up when you’re tired.
Putting the graft in.
Helping the person beside you.
Getting pushed outside your comfort zone.
Having a laugh.
Making friendships.
And celebrating each other’s progress.

Some people come through the doors looking to compete.
Some come to learn.
Some come to get fit.
Some just want somewhere they belong.

Whatever brings you through the door, you become part of the team.

Hard work. Respect. Friendship. No egos.

We train together, we push each other, and we get better together.

The mats are where the work happens — but the people are what make Mavericks. 🖤💚
