Excellent mountainbikes for all budgets and ambitions!

If you're looking to start your off-road adventure, you need a proper partner for the trail ahead.

Our BIG.NINE and BIG.TRAIL hardtails are the perfect place to start, but they're slightly different tools for different jobs. Which one would suit you best?

Well, the BIG.NINE and sister 27.5" wheeled BIG.SEVEN start at very affordable price points, with the TFS frame options making for a great first bike. With 100-120 mm of travel and aluminium frames, they're great for everything from classic cross-country riding to being rugged do-it-all bikes. Of course, if you're on a big budget, we also offer the carbon-fibre-framed models, which are great for fast riding and racing.

On the other hand, the BIG.TRAIL is a bit more capable on rougher trails, thanks to a longer-travel 140 mm fork, combined with geometry and aggressive tyres that offer more stability on tricky, technical terrain.

One bike to rule them all.

A good trail bike is the Swiss Army Knife of mountain biking; able to do pretty much anything you need it to.

We've got two full-suspension mountain bikes that fall into this category: the ONE-TWENTY and the ONE-FORTY. The ONE-TWENTY offers excellent performance in a simple, shorter travel package, with 130 mm of suspension, full 29" wheels and an aluminium frame, which allows us to offer models at very affordable prices. However, if you're looking for a bit more travel, the ONE-FORTY offers up 140 mm at the rear and 150 mm at the front, with both aluminium and carbon frame options and the ability to run the standard full 29" or mixed wheels.

2 years! Village cycles turns 2 this week. And with more growth than initially expected, the future looks bright!
Thank you to all who have supported me from day one, from Headford locals to those who travel serious distances!
Your faith and support has carried me this far and with some serious developments brewing behind the scenes, the year ahead promises great things!

🚴 Return to Cycling – Starting This Sunday 🚴

Tuam Cycling Club are delighted to announce the start of our Return to Cycling spins, beginning this Sunday morning.

This group is designed for people who may not have cycled in a while and would like to ease back into cycling in a relaxed and friendly environment.

The aim is simply to get people back enjoying the bike again, with steady spins and supportive group riding.

📍 Meeting Point: Tuam Cancer Care
🕘 Time: 9:30am
📅 Starting: This Sunday

These spins will be at a comfortable pace with manageable distances and plenty of encouragement along the way.
