🔵Celebridge Gary Kenny Festival of Football⚪️
Our U10 lads had another day full of football this week, taking part in the Celbridge Festival of Football. Playing matches against Dundhaughlin Gaels, Lámh Dearg Antrim, Kilmurry Clare, St. Ciarans Roscommon and Clonguish Longford. The lads put in a great shift and the rain didn’t dampen their spirits or their effort. The lads were lucky enough to hear a great speech from Donegal player, Michael Murphy who took the time to take a photo with the lads. We were very proud of the lads, special mention to Jack Reddy who was selected for an award for his work rate and good sportsmanship across the whole competition. Thanks to the hosts GAA and to the parents form travelling 💪🏐🔵

U10 girls enjoyed a friendly match against neighbours Ballymore this morning - great skills on display from both teams - well done all & many thanks to Ballymore for the match. Training every Tuesday 6.30pm, new players always welcome.

Championship weekend for both Senior and Junior A. Senior men in Aughrim this evening at 6.30pm and Junior A are in Roundwood on Sunday at 2pm. G4M&O had a great evening at training this week, practicing some new drills and having a mini match at the end to keep the football skills sharp 😉 we had two new players join over the last few sessions ✨Leanne✨ and ✨Danielle✨ and we were delighted to welcome back our pal ✨Breda✨ this week.

Our U14 Girls went to Bray on Sunday for their first ever championship match coming away with a great win. The girls dominated the first half with goals and some lovely team worked points from Sophie, Ella, Macey & Caoilainn. The girls kicked on in the third quarter to put the game.out of reach from Bray. The workrate was brilliant from the throw in and there was no let up either when our subs came on. The coaches can see the effort put into training is paying didvends. Congrats to Caoilainn, Aleesha and Lauren winning their cup final. Lastly, thanks to Ellie for helping out on the sideline yesterday. Rathnew is next game on Sunday.

The boys hosted Éire Og in the Wicklow league Rd 11 and it turned into the match of the year!
